because I haven’t been devoting enough time to my art practice. I had intended to make an etching of a heron fishing but all the photos online showed the birds with fish skewered on their beaks, which was not the mood I was looking for! Instead, I showed the heron’s beak meeting the mouth of a giant koi, as though the two creatures were equals and in conversation.
